Aristotle’s homo mimeticus
This paper reconsiders Aristotle’s view of humans as mimetic beings, arguing that mimesis is crucial for education and human flourishing. Its neglect has damaged coexistence. Emphasizing mimesis restores the essential bond between self and other, enriching human coexistence beyond mere rationality.
